Late 1980s

BBS & Commercial Printing Roots

Don Powell established dial-up Bulletin Board Systems (BBS) and commercial printing operations, developing the foundational customer service and systems mindset that still defines Social Power today.

1994 – 1998

Hand-Coded HTML & Early Search

Built websites right after Netscape launched, operated early Linux RedHat servers, and pioneered organic search optimization on AltaVista, WebCrawler, and InfoSeek before Google existed.
